Bible Quotes and Verses on Nurture

What is Nurture according to man?

Nurture means to help grow, provide sustenance and can be applied to knowledge as well as a person.

Nurture is the effect the people in your life had on you growing up. An example would be the values your parents taught to you.

To nurture someone is to take care of them. You tenderly care for their needs, and make sure they feel loved and secure.

What about "Nurture means when it comes on the Bible"?

"And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it."

(Genesis 2:15)

God dress up and keep the man He want to nurture or to care, He is our true Father when it comes to parenting. Another Bible verses about dressing man was written at Matthew 6:30 saying,

"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? "

(Matthew 6:30)

We can see how much love and care of God to man, that even man has little faith God still nurture man and dressed them.

Nurturing of God written on the Bible was making man holy to be a part of His kingdom.

"And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children,
My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Nurturing of God is not exactly what man does to their children, but instead it is very different. Man nurture their child according on their own knowledge and judgment, while God nurture man to become a partakers of His Holliness and to give them wisdom on how to achieve the Eternal Life.
