"And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."
(Isaiah 2:4)
In the near future all things will come back to the old form and technologies will be no more.
If you will get the idea of what will happen in the future, believe it or not, it is not the typical events you have been expected. The Word said,

"Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come."(Isaiah 41:22)
The end of war means the end of military training. Why there is war? Simply because they have "No God" and even if they know God, they only know Him by words and not by reality or by works. There is war because the administration right now are not administered by God but by man, that is why they study how to learn to kill, to create amunitions, build nuclear bombs and other destructive materials that can use in war. No one is rebuking their works and no one can judge their doings.
God prophecies that in the end of these days, He shall judge among all the nations and will rebuke them on doing destructive weapons, and God will command all nations to stop studying of war and other military trainings. And they shall convert all their deadly weapons to a material that can be use on industrial and useful agricultural instruments.
But again, this prophecy of ending the wars will not occur before the Great Tribulation end.
