What is Faith - Faithful Quotes Moves Mountains

What is Faith - Can Faith Really Move Mountains?

What Is Faith According To Man - Faith is confidence or trust in a person or entity.

How about the meaning of Faith according to Bible verses
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
(Hebrews 11:1)

Faith is the substance of the things we hope here in life that we can see, and faith proved the reality of things we cannot see.
Imagine how powerful faith can be, because faith can testify invisible things without using any hightech gadgets.

Faith can also help mankind to become a better person. Humans are not humans in front of God's eye, instead they are beast and animals in front of the Mighty Creator.
"I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts."
(Ecclesiastes 3:18)
But God gave and taught faith to man so that man can become a real human and learn how to become a real image of God.

"To See Is To Believe" man said, because they don't know how to trust in God. But in faith you have to believe first before you can see. Remember that faith is the evidence of the things we hope, and those things we hope cannot see by our naked eyes and we can see it until we have faith on those things we believe in the will of God.
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
(Mark 16:16-18)

Faith Makes Righteous Man Alive
"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."
(Romans 1:17)

Two Kinds Of Faith
There are 2 classifications of faith. The first one is faith by words and the second is faith with work.
"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?"
(James 2:14)

1. Faith by Word - is a kind of faith that has no works. A faith only by mouth but not by act. The Bible examples written at the book James saying,
"If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."
(James 2:15-17)
Faith by words only is like a body without a spirit.

2. Faith with Works - is a faith by righteous man and a complete process of believing or the perfection of faith.
"Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."
(James 2:21-24)

Faith with works is like a body with a spirit completing task.
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
(James 2:26)

Faith Gave Man Understanding And Wisdom
"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
(Hebrews 11:3)

By Faith Even Dead Can Speak
"By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh."
(Hebrews 11:4)

By Faith Bodies Can Transported and Translated
"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."
(Hebrews 11:5)

By Faith Man Fear God and Got Saved
"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."
(Hebrews 11:7)

By Faith Man Can Go Anywhere
"By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."
(Hebrews 11:8)

By Faith Man Grow and Populated The Earth
"Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised."
(Hebrews 11:11)
"Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable."
(Hebrews 11:12)

By Faith Man Knows God Can Raise Dead
"By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure."
(Hebrews 11:17-19)

By Faith Man Can See The Future
"By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come."
(Hebrews 11:20)
"By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones."
(Hebrews 11:22)

By Faith Man Worshipped Even Dead
"By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff."
(Hebrews 11:21)

By Faith Man Overcome Their Fear
"By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment."
(Hebrews 11:23)
"By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible."
(Hebrews 11:27)

By Faith Fame and Wealth of Man Became Dirty and Non-Sense
"By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward."
(Hebrews 11:24-26)

By Faith Man Survived The Calamities Given by God
"Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them."
(Hebrews 11:28)

By Faith Man Always Win Their Battles
"By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned."
(Hebrews 11:29)
"By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days."
(Hebrews 11:30)

By Faith Even Harlot Got Saved
"By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace."
(Hebrews 11:31)

What more can faith do? All can do by faith but man cannot do anything because they have no faith in those things they cannot see, they don't have even a little. Just what the holy scripture said,
"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."
(Matthew 17:20)

Search Google and you will know how much is the size of one grain of mustard and compare how much small your faith and ask yourself - can my faith move a mountain?
