"And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb,Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country. " (Luke 4:23)
Doctors cannot heal himself. The quoted verse on the Bible really emphasis the truth that no one can cure himself. A man who has a flesh cannot heal himself.
Why did our Lord Jesus Christ said this statement? Simply because, He is not a "flesh" in nature, our LORD is The Word from the beginning who only made flesh for us to speak what the Spiritual Word wants us to hear. Spirit has no mouth, that's why He came to flesh (who has mouth to speak) so that He can speak to man clearly and understand what The Word want to say.
So now, don't be innocent with this quotes on Bible, because the physician who quoted here that cannot heal them self was the physician of this world, promising other people to get rid of their sickness but cannot heal their own sickness.
Think of this kind of situation:
There is an operation of a patient who has a severe sickness, and they
are willing to pay just for the benefits of his/her health. But before
the operation, the doctor will ask the patient to sign a waiver
telling whatever happen or result of their operation, you will not
blame them if the operation will fail or they will fail on operating
you body, and then, the patient will sign it because he/she has no
choice but to sign it and take the risk. Whether it fail or become
successful,the patient has to pay the bill. Now think of it, if the
operation was successful, then praise God, but how about if the
operation fail and the patient die, what will you do?
